New visitor information office opens in Lisnaskea

A new visitor information office has been opened in Lisnaskea.  One of two in the entire County of Fermanagh!  The other one being based in Enniskillen.

Tourism Minister, Arlene Foster attended the official opening of a new Visitor Information Office in Lisnaskea, which has been supported by the Upper Lough Erne Tourism Development Association.

Speaking at the official opening, Arlene Foster said: “The eyes of the world will be on Fermanagh when the Lough Erne Resort hosts the G8 summit. This beautiful county has so much to offer tourists, being home to some of the instant recognisable sites in Northern Ireland, such as the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark, Belleek Pottery, Devinish Island, the lakes and historic properties like Castle Coole, Florence Court and Crom Castle to name but a few.

“It is important that we give visitors from far and near as much information as possible about what they can see and do while they are in this beautiful part of the world. This new Information Office will be a welcome addition to the great facilities already on offer and I wish everyone involved with it every success for the future.”
